A SOLUTION FOR EVERY NEED

A comprehensive master plan can take between 6 months to 1 year but varies greatly depending on the goals of the client.
The first phase in every design project is the site analysis and a basic plan is created from our initial site visits, which usually take between 3-5 days to create our outline.
Scope: Months to Years

Design, build, and finish is our motto. This means we are in control of the entire creative process from concept design to finished construction. We can build a construction team to suit your needs.

Jeffrey's strong ability to visualize and create beautiful and functional golf course features is critical to our shaping expertise.
From the smallest strategic green contours, to shifting thousands of yards of soil to create new dramatic landforms, Jeffrey knows how to deliver the best result.
This skill-set saves the client time and money as we are able build the feature correctly, the first time.

Stein Golf Design has spent thousands of hours researching and restoring some of the most notable golf courses of golf's golden age, notably working on restorative projects at Merion, Quaker Ridge, Garden City Golf Club, and Seawane Club. Each of these golf course are over 100 years old and require a specialized knowledge that comes from years of study with aerial photography, written works, and on-site expertise. A golf course is a living, breathing organism and much like the rings of tree we can tell what your golf course looked like in years past. Often restoration is a combination of bringing back the past while updating for the future. The correct planning for the golf course can help improve conditioning with new infrastructure and reduced maintenance costs.
Our experience with noted architects, paired with our knowledge of golf history, allows us to advise and plan for any restoration with the utmost care for your golf course.

To successfully implement such a project, you need a team with experience and thoughtful consideration to the property and how practice can blend into the existing course.
